Outdoor and Digital campaign for Xbox Entertainment’s first foray into TV programming ... the story of Atari and “the worst video game ever invented:  E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. Urban legend has it that over 3 million copies of the game were buried one night in the Alamagordo N.M. city dump to eliminate unordered inventory. The academy-award winning documentary team of Simon and Jonathan Chinn (“Man On A Wire”) went to New Mexico to unearth ET and find out if the legend is true. In the weaks preceding the show's debut, "teaser" shirts featuring the ET 8-bit character and the GPS coordinates of Alamagordo were distributed throughout LA. Outdoor boards with the 8-bit character and an 800 "phone home" number led callers to a recorded message promoting the show.
